Macworld Expo 2006
The expo was a mixed experience. A few interesting products floating in a sea of mediocrity and bad marketing. Best of the show for me:- Becoming a member of the Electronic Frontier Foundation after finding their small booth at the back and donating $25.
- Volunteering to work with the Bay Area Alternative Press.
- Meeting Guy Kawasaki at the Filmloop booth.
- The new laptop with an unfortunate name. The little cameras being embedded everywhere are cool, if a bit unsettling.
- iWeb, which actually seems to produce valid XHTML code (I checked briefly).
- Meeting part of the Delicious Monster crew, including those who work in the coffee shop where the company works out of.
- Comic Life and Wingnuts 2.
