How to Make OBS Streaming Software See Your Electric Guitar

I usually play my guitar through an Apogee Jam USB interface connected to a Mac laptop with Garageband, but wanted to connect it to my PC so I can capture its sound input for streaming to the whole wide world through OBS.

Here are the steps I followed so I don’t forget and so you may also be helped, dear world wide web visitor:

1. Install Asio4All driver Audio Stream Input/Output sound interface.
2. Install the OBS Asio plugin made by the kind Alex Anderson.
3. Configure OBS as per these or these instructions.

It took some fiddling with settings, but finally worked.
