How to make OBS streaming software see your electric guitar
I usually play my guitar through a Volt 2 USB interface connected to a Mac laptop with Garageband, but wanted to connect it to my PC so I can capture its sound input for streaming to the whole wide world through OBS.
Here are the steps I followed on Windows so I don’t forget and so you may also be helped, dear world wide web visitor:
- Install Asio4All driver Audio Stream Input/Output sound interface.
- Install the OBS Asio plugin made by the kind Alex Anderson.
- Configure OBS as per these or these instructions.
It took some fiddling with settings, but finally worked.
